Legal information
Website terms of use
Effective date: 12 August 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of irishaccountingpartner.com. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
1. About this website
This website is operated by Irish Accounting Partner, the legal and trading name of an accountancy business based in Dublin 8, Ireland and serving clients across Ireland.
- Website: irishaccountingpartner.com
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone: +353 89 967 2774
2. General information, not professional advice
The website explains our services and provides general information about accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, financial modelling, finance operations and related business matters. It is not accounting, financial, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice for your circumstances.
Decisions should not be made or delayed solely because of website content. Appropriate advice depends on current records, objectives, responsibilities, deadlines and other facts that cannot be assessed through a public webpage.
3. No client relationship
Visiting the website, submitting an enquiry, sending an email, calling us, using WhatsApp or attending an initial consultation does not create an accountant-client, adviser-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship.
A professional engagement begins only when we have completed any required acceptance and onboarding work and both parties have agreed the scope, responsibilities, fees and other terms in writing. Engagement documents will take priority over these website terms for the professional services covered by them.
4. Services and professional boundaries
Our services may include small-business accounting and financial reporting, bookkeeping, management accounts, performance reporting, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, Virtual or Fractional CFO support, outsourced finance support, financial modelling and finance systems, processes and controls advisory. Availability and scope depend on our assessment and written agreement.
Irish Accounting Partner does not provide tax compliance, payroll, statutory audit, internal audit or independent assurance. References to audit experience describe relevant professional background and do not mean that the firm offers audit or assurance services. Where a client requires regulated or excluded services, we may coordinate with the client's separately appointed tax adviser, payroll provider, statutory auditor, solicitor or other specialist. We do not accept responsibility for the work or advice of an independently appointed provider.
References to an ACCA-qualified accountant describe the qualification of professional leadership. They do not state or imply that Irish Accounting Partner itself is an ACCA-regulated firm unless that status is expressly confirmed in writing.
5. Enquiries and complimentary consultations
A complimentary consultation is an initial conversation to understand the broad requirement, discuss potential fit and identify a possible next step. It is subject to availability and may be declined where the request is outside our services, presents a conflict, cannot be supported responsibly or does not meet our acceptance criteria.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the consultation does not include a detailed review of accounting records, verification of information, written advice, filing work, deadline monitoring or responsibility for a decision. No outcome, saving, funding result, business performance or future engagement is guaranteed.
6. Fees, proposals and availability
Website descriptions are not binding offers. Fees, timing, deliverables, assumptions and payment terms are confirmed in a written proposal or engagement document. Any estimate is based on the information available at the time and may change if the records, scope, urgency or responsibilities differ from what was described.
We may change, pause or withdraw a website service description without notice. This does not alter a signed engagement unless the engagement terms permit it.
7. Your responsibilities when using the website
You agree that you will:
- provide information that is accurate and that you are authorised to provide;
- avoid submitting passwords, banking credentials, complete financial records, identity documents, health information or other highly sensitive data through the public form;
- not attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, overload the service or bypass security measures;
- not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or misleading activity; and
- not copy, scrape or reuse website content in a way that infringes intellectual-property rights or disrupts the website.
8. Accuracy and reliance
We take reasonable care when preparing website content, but laws, standards, technology and business practices change. We do not promise that every page is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Examples and descriptions are illustrative and may not apply to your business.
You remain responsible for obtaining advice appropriate to your circumstances and for meeting legal, tax, payroll, filing, payment and other deadlines unless responsibility for a specific task has been expressly accepted in a written engagement.
9. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Irish Accounting Partner owns or is licensed to use the website design, text, graphics, branding and other original material. You may view pages and print or save a reasonable copy for your own internal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, republish, sell, license or commercially exploit a substantial part of the website without prior written permission.
Third-party names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Mentioning QuickBooks or another platform does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
10. External services and links
The website may link to or use services operated by third parties, including WhatsApp, Google, Cloudflare, Resend and other websites. External links are provided for convenience or supporting information. We do not control third-party content, availability, security or privacy practices and are not responsible for them. You should review the applicable third-party terms before using those services.
11. Website availability and security
We aim to keep the website available and secure, but access may be interrupted, delayed or withdrawn for maintenance, security, provider failure or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from defects or harmful components. You are responsible for using appropriate device, browser, network and security protections.
12. Liability for website use
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Irish Accounting Partner is not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website content, inability to access the website, use of a third-party link or service, or unauthorised interference with the website. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from website use.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Liability relating to an agreed professional engagement is governed by the applicable engagement documents and mandatory law, not this website clause.
13. Privacy and communications
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and our cookie policy explains the technologies used on this website. Electronic communications can be delayed, intercepted or sent to an incorrect address. Receipt of a message does not mean that we have accepted an instruction, deadline or professional responsibility.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, services or law. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from the stated date. Changes to a signed professional engagement require the process set out in the relevant engagement documents.
15. Governing law and disputes
These website terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the website, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law. Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us so the issue can be considered and, where possible, resolved.
16. General provisions
If a provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. No person other than you and Irish Accounting Partner has a right to enforce these website terms. Headings are included for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected], raised by calling +353 89 967 2774, or submitted through our contact page.
